Fortune's Flight was released in June 2007.

Synopsis:

Isabelle Lachance was barely more than a girl on the day fate blew in on the winds of chance, bringing with it the ship. France’s turmoil had nearly subsided with Napoleon Bonaparte’s exile to the South Atlantic isle of St. Helena. But Isabelle’s adventures have just begun.
Trying to escape her father’s insistency for propriety and duty, Isabelle longs to explore all that has been unknown to her since her mother’s death. When charming Gabriel Noir, captain of the ship called Le Risque, enters her life, Isabelle discovers that she may not be the only one wishing for more worldly exploration. The captain’s life and experiences hold promise of all the adventure that she has longed to have. And when Isabelle hears rumors that the French Kings Jewels are being smuggled out of France in secret, to free Napoleon, she is more than intrigued.
But Isabelle’s thoughts of both Noir and the jewels are momentarily forgotten when she meets a mysterious lieutenant, Antoine Ladue, seemingly by chance. However, when Isabelle discovers that the lieutenant’s intentions include an advantageous marriage to herself, she decides she must try to break free of the bonds that hold her back.
Things go awry when Isabelle witnesses something that could be the very destruction of her home: the French Kings Jewels being smuggled, a ransom for an emperor, on Le Risque! When discovered eavesdropping, Isabelle is held captive by the guilty crewmembers, (unbeknownst to the captain) in the ship’s lowest deck.
There, in the dank hold, someone comes to her rescue. Dominic, a crew boy, seems to be one kind stranger in the face of so many cruel ones as he assists her, reuniting her with the Captain. Isabelle faces many more adventures she did not bargain for when she is introduced to the perils of sea travel. Le Risque, it seems, is destined to go to its original destination, Guadeloupe. Isabelle is forced to stay aboard, knowing her father is probably just a few days behind.
As she bonds with the charmingly pleasant Captain Noir, Isabelle is soon to discover she may not be as indifferent to the serious Lieutenant Ladue as she first believed. As Isabelle finds herself caught between her two onboard admirers, battling against the smuggling, thievery and deception that is the society of a ship, she must also try to find herself, and where she fits into the puzzle of the mysterious French Kings Jewels.
